"Melbourne's Paradigm Apparel is taking us back to the '80s with its unisex line of retro streetwear.

The up-and-coming label, which launched online in 2016, offers a collection of lightweight spray jackets that bring some old-school charm to a modern-day wardrobe staple. With its vibrant, contrasting colour combinations (yes, pastels do feature), it's breaking up Melbourne's love affair with all-black attire.

To offer an in-the-flesh experience for customers, Paradigm is popping up in Fitzroy for one day only in March. The pop-up will showcase the spray jackets as well as launch the label's debut range of tees and hats. The unveil of a new jacket design is also on the cards.

The pop-up will take over a Kerr Street warehouse from 2pm to 9pm. Customers are invited to peruse the collection, try on garments and have a beer with the designers.

If you can't make it down on the day but want to try before you buy, Paradigm products are being stocked at About That in Ormond and 1st Product in Hawthorn."
